Fall Goodies

For our family night activity we made caramel apples. Yum!  We also talked about staying out of 'sticky situations' with the media and digital technologies...ipods, phones, video games and television.

Elder Bednar gave a great talk a few years ago about "things as they really are" Jacob 4:13.  He gives us two questions to ask ourselves as we ponder our time spent with our technologically changing world.
1.  Does the use of various media and technologies invite or impede the constant companionship with the Holy Ghost?
2.  Does the time you spend using various technologies and media enlarge or restrict your capacity to live, to love, and serve in meaningful ways?
This was a good lesson and not only for the kids :)
