Seattle, WA

We had so much fun in Seattle. We are celebrating our
sixth wedding anniversary this year. Shawn had a conference
in Seattle and so we made a little mini trip out of it.
Safeco Field was amazing! We had seats right behind the
Mariners dugout!

Shawn was in heaven - I think this makes up for my

Forks detour - ha ha.

Pikes Place - I loved the market!!

The flowers were my favorite - I could have bought

them all!

The fish throwers were really fun to watch!


Well - home sweet home! The kids loved their souveniers

now back to reality!

Detour

We took a little - (ok - a four hour) detour - from our trip to Seattle. My dear husband is such a trooper

as we walked the streets of Port Angeles and Forks Washington.

Here is the setting of the Twlight series books by Stephenie Meyer. A treat for me - being such a fan of this world. My favorite part? Olympic National Forest - my pictures don't do it justice.

An Honor

I have recently been approved as an Affiliated Photographer and Digital Retouch Artist to serve on behalf of the organization, Now I lay me down to Sleep.

I cannot express what an honor this is to me. I was first introduced to this program as I had the unique and cherished opportunity to make a scrapbook for a friend using the photo's she had received from a NILMDTS volunteer photographer at the loss of her son at 25 weeks. I was able to experience first hand the help this had in the healing process.

I new I wanted to be involved some how and I am humbled by the opportunity to capture the love and sweetness of life - if only for a moment.

Oh the fun begins.....

The kitchen remodel of 2009 - ha ha - begins. Our neighbor brought over his mini excavator (thanks Rob!) and helped tear down the play gym. This will be relocated and put back in when the remodel is done!

The deck also has to go so Matt, Jeff and Shawn worked in the

rain for hours......

Six years ago today - our two little families were joined together. Today is our sixth wedding anniversary ;0)

We have had better, worse, and everything in between and have always had love, a sense of humor and committment to our family. After family night tonight - we were surprised by a wonderful anniversary cake!
