Recipe and a little Sawdust

I first received this great crockpot recipe from my friend Jared and recently found it on one of my favorite food blogs with the addition of corn. Super yummy and super easy. It is great on a taco salad or in a tortilla!

Crockpot Southwestern Chicken
1 bag frozen corn
1 can black beans
2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 16 oz jar medium salsa
shredded cheddar cheese
tortilla chips or flour tortillas
sour cream
chopped cillantro
sour cream
Pour corn on bottom of crockpot. Place chicken on top and cover with black beans and salsa. Cook on low for 2-4 hours and then shred with fork. Cook 1 hour more. Serve as desired with choice of toppings.

Shawn found some time this week to work on our kitchen cabinets! He comes home from a long day at work and get's a bite to eat and heads down stairs. Thanks dear!

He has set up our new room under the addition for a temporary workshop.

The upstairs is coming along great and we are excited to be closer to seeing our new kitchen finished!!
