A few friends have had some questions about the fruits we've tried. We google each new fruit we find and learn where they are grown, how to eat them, what they are used for, and what their taste might resemble.
Jeff and G and G Steiner were over tonight so they joined us in trying our feijoa and papaya. The feijoa was so sweet and good. The blossoms are edible and have a strong hint of cinnamon. They are grown in Brazil. We were amazed at all the nutrional value the papaya has. Everyone liked the taste but Matt. It was a little under ripe but it was pretty tasty. The black seeds have a sharp, spicy taste and are sometimes ground and used as a substitue for ground pepper. They are mostly grown in Hawaii.
