The end of the school year was very busy for Ken. She has really enjoyed debate this year and had blast at the mock trial. Her team won district and went on to state. I was able to attend the state trial and I can't believe how impressive these young kids are. The judge mentioned that he had to keep reminding himself that this was a junior high competition and not high school :) They triumphed and took state and were amazing!
She also participated in the USU Physics Day at Lagoon. She designed and built (with the help of Dad) a model showing how roller coasters are affected by physics.
Her and her friend took second place out of 100 schools! Not too shabby. They had a great day at Lagoon and learned a little too ;)
