We are still very grateful the basement is not finished yet. You should always look on the bright side, right? - but I am looking forward to sunny days ahead!

More Rain
I was so excited to wake up yesterday and find a dry basement. As I sat at work, looking out our big office windows at the rain.....and then the rain again......and as I left work.....still raining...I was a little worried.
We are still very grateful the basement is not finished yet. You should always look on the bright side, right? - but I am looking forward to sunny days ahead!

Oh Mel, I'm so sorry about your basement! Ugh! But the kitchen updates look fantastic. I love your new railing! And it's one of my book reading goals to read a Mary Higgins Clark. I never have, but all I hear are wonderful things about her books. Thanks for sharing!
